UGC ads work when they feel real, fast, and clear. Not overproduced. Not fake. Just structured well enough that the viewer understands the value before they think about scrolling.
The work
Steven Guo - paid UGC ads for a dog crate product. I wrote the scripts, structured the ads around problem-solution-benefit, used AI voiceover, assembled product footage, selected music, and added captions. Those ads generated over $50,000 in sales.
HeroCovers - organic UGC-style videos. The footage was real. Filmed by actual customers, not staged. I assembled raw clips into cohesive short-form videos, chose music that matched the tone, and added clear captions. Multiple videos reached hundreds of thousands of views organically.
The philosophy
Strong hooks in the first 1-3 seconds. Simple benefit-driven messaging. Captions for sound-off viewing. Pacing that removes friction between the viewer and the offer.
Instead of trying to sell, the ads show, explain, and let viewers decide.
