These two projects are where my editing philosophy came from. Different audiences, different niches, same core goal: make informational content something people actually want to watch.
Elevate to the Unknown
A YouTube channel with 116,000+ subscribers focused on helping people find jobs, navigate careers, and make better professional decisions.
I started working with the channel in September 2025, introducing an early version of the EditVisions Style.
Cinematic text scenes to emphasize key ideas and turning points. Carefully selected movie clips to add emotional context. Strong sound design to maintain momentum. Motion graphics to structure and clarify dense information. Clean pacing to prevent fatigue in long-form educational content.
Views increased significantly compared to previous uploads. Watch time stayed strong despite the informational subject matter. The content reached more people and had real-world impact on viewers navigating their careers.
Lamz
My first long-term client collaboration. The goal was to grow a new YouTube channel, build trust with viewers, and convert attention into real business results.
Instead of complex animations, the editing focused on simplicity, clarity, and emotional pacing. Strong sound design. Well-chosen stock footage and cinematic b-roll. Simple but effective text scenes. Clean pacing aligned with Lamz's speaking rhythm. Movie clips used for meaning, not spectacle.
Grew the channel to 5,000 subscribers and 200,000+ total views. Average retention sat between 40-50%, with peaks up to 60%. The most viral video hit 44,000 views. The editing contributed directly to sales of Lamz's course creator services and digital products.
The channel became not just a content platform, but a revenue driver.
The philosophy
Both projects proved the same thing. Instead of changing the message, the editing improved how the message was experienced. Simple, intentional editing outperforms complex styles when the fundamentals are right.
I wouldn't have the success that I have right now on YouTube without the help of Damian. He has helped me massively in not just as an editor but also, as a YouTube friend, if you will, like, as a partner in this journey on YouTube
